Staff from the OpenEd23 Conference have approached our SIG to include an Australasian/Oceania virtual meet-up event as part of the conference. This meet-up will be held on:

Our usual SIG monthly meeting will run as normal on Tuesday, November 7, but many of our members in Melbourne won’t be in attendance due to a public holiday for the Melbourne Cup. So, this gives us a second chance for the community to gather.
The purpose of the OpenEd23 meet-up is to share practice, and we’ll have an OpenEd Conference staff member joining us from the US for the session.
What will we do at the OpenEd23 meet-up?
Sharing practice and updates is part of our usual meetings. In preparation for the meet-up, we’re asking members to add their updates to the “What’s happening at your institution?” Agenda section (as we do every month). We’ll hold this agenda item over until Wednesday and invite members to speak to their notes and encourage discussion.
There are also some discussion questions the Facilitator may ask.
